Job Description:

To bridge and align coverage data reported by the Ministry of Health with the achievements and performance indicators attained by CGPP. The role is responsible for monitoring, validating, and analyzing data trends to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement between national health coverage targets and CGPP implementation outcomes. 

In addition, the National Data Assistant provides evidence-based insights and strategic recommendations to support decision-making, enhance data quality, strengthen program monitoring, and optimize the achievement of CGPP targets. By leveraging data analysis and performance tracking, the position contributes to improving program effectiveness, ensuring accountability, and supporting continuous progress toward national health objectives.

 

Strategy Development & Planning 

  • Lead the development and implementation of data management strategies aligned with the objectives, performance indicators, and reporting requirements outlined in the MEAL framework. 

  • Collaborate closely with the MEAL Manager to analyze, monitor, and interpret CGPP project performance and coverage against national immunization and public health targets. 

  • Ensure that data management systems and processes support program monitoring, learning, accountability, and donor reporting requirements. 

 

Resource Acquisition & Management/ Engagement/Project Management 

  • Maintain and regularly update program coverage data and key performance indicators by aligning CGPP achievements with relevant Ministry of Health targets, indicators, and reporting frameworks. 

  • Coordinate data-related activities across projects and implementation areas to ensure consistency, efficiency, data integrity, and alignment with organizational priorities. 

  • Monitor program expenditures against implemented activities in close collaboration with the Finance and Corporate Services (FCS) Unit to support effective budget utilization and performance tracking. 

  • Support project management processes through timely analysis and reporting of program performance, progress, and resource utilization. 

 

Capacity Building/ Technical works 

  • Collaborate with the MEAL team to design, develop, and maintain CGPP performance dashboards and data visualization platforms that facilitate real-time monitoring and evidence-based decision-making. 

  • Provide technical support on data collection, data management, analysis, visualization, and reporting systems to program staff and relevant stakeholders. 

  • Contribute to strengthening organizational capacity in data utilization, interpretation, and performance monitoring through coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance. 

 

Accountability & Quality Assurance 

  • Establish and oversee comprehensive data quality assurance mechanisms to ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and reliability of program data. 

  • Conduct routine data quality assessments, audits, validation exercises, and verification processes to identify and address data quality issues and reporting discrepancies. 

  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational standards, data protection policies, and applicable national regulations. 

 

Networking & Coordination 

  • Foster strong collaboration and coordination with Program, MEAL, Grants, Finance, Operations, and other relevant departments to ensure effective data integration, harmonization, and utilization. 

  • Coordinate closely with Surveillance and Immunization Data Teams within the Ministry of Health to ensure alignment of program data with national health information systems and reporting requirements. 

 

Management & Leadership  

  • Develop and manage annual performance agreement  

  • Submits periodical/ monthly accomplishment report  

  • Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit and department   

  • Provide Christian value and support to enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.  

  • Be a role model and inspiration in managing work, communication and relationship with internal staff and external parties. 

  • Manage all risks related to CGPP Project according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks. 

 

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in public health (preferably Epidemiology or Biostatistics) with experience in immunization and/or surveillance programs  

  • Surveillance Officer or Epidemiologist with strong data management and analytical skills. 

  •  3–5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: 

    • Immunization programs  

    • Public health surveillance  

    • MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning)  

    • Health information systems  

    • Data management for donor-funded projects  

    • Program performance monitoring and reporting  

  • Experience working with organizations such as WHO, UNICEF, USAID-funded projects, CGPP, World Vision/Wahana Visi Indonesia, Save the Children, PATH, FHI 360, or similar organizations would be an advantage.  

  • Have an excellent command of Bahasa Indonesia and English both written and spoken. Minimal that equal TOEFL Score: 500. 

  • Thrives in challenging, dynamic, and high-pressure environments. 

  • Excellent in data analysis

  • Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural and communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage to plan and meet deadlines. 

  • Working independently and as an active team player
